Business Concept: Guapos Auto Detailing is a locally run car detailing service founded by Adam J. Shifflet, an active-duty Army servicemember with 16 years of service. On weekends, he channels his passion for cars into a side business that provides full-service detailing, from interior deep cleans to exterior polishing. With limited time and budget, the business needed a professional brand identity and multi-channel marketing materials to reach local car owners and stand out from competitors

Introduction

Guapos Auto Detailing is a small auto detailing business owned by Adam J. Shifflet, an active-duty Army servicemember with 16 years of service. On weekends, Adam runs his detailing side business, offering full-service auto cleaning and restoration. His goal was to create a recognizable brand presence that would attract local car owners and build customer trust through both digital and physical marketing.

Challenges

One of the biggest challenges in developing materials for Guapos Auto Detailing was working within the constraints of a side business run only on weekends. The client’s limited availability meant that the branding and marketing needed to be simple, clear, and easy for him to use without ongoing design support. Another challenge was balancing effectiveness with cost, since the client wanted professional-looking materials but did not have the budget for large-scale advertising campaigns. The solution required a careful focus on versatile, low-cost designs that could make a strong impression while staying practical for a small, part-time business.

Final Design & Outcomes

TThe final design package provided Guapos Auto Detailing with a complete, professional brand identity and a set of marketing tools that worked seamlessly across print and digital platforms. The new logo served as the foundation for the brand, appearing consistently on posters, social media posts, door hangers, business cards, and the website. Each deliverable was designed to reflect the business’s attention to detail while giving potential customers multiple points of contact. The print materials helped increase local awareness, while the website and social media posts established a digital presence that allowed for easy communication and bookings. Together, the deliverables gave the client a polished and credible brand that helped him stand out from competitors and attract more customers in his community.
